2021 NCAA Division I бейсбола сезона игра бейсбол колледжа в Соединенных Штатах , организованной Национальной ассоциация студенческого спорта (NCAA) в Дивизионе I уровня, началась 19 февраля 2021 сезона будет прогрессировать через регулярный сезон, много конференц - турниров и серии чемпионатов и завершатся турниром по бейсболу NCAA Division I 2021 года и Мировой серией колледжей 2021 года . Мировая серия College World Series, состоящая из восьми оставшихся в турнире NCAA команд и проводимая ежегодно в Омахе, штат Небраска, в TD Ameritrade Park Omaha , завершится в июне 2021 года.

Из-за продолжающейся пандемии COVID-19 начало сезона было отложено на неделю, а некоторые команды вообще отказались от участия в сезоне 2021 года. Ivy League объявила 18 февраля , что никакие соревнования конференции не будут проходить, чтобы включить чемпионаты конференции. Возможность проведения игр без участия в конференции сохраняется, если состояние здоровья улучшится. [1]

Объявлены следующие мероприятия конференции на сезон 2022 года:

  • Пять школ покинут Южную конференцию . Абилин Кристиан , Ламар , Сэм Хьюстон и Стивен Ф. Остин переедут в WAC, [11] а Центральный Арканзас отправится в ASUN. [12]
  • Середина-Восточная Спортивный конференции потеряет три члена. Бетьюн-Кукман [13] и Флорида A&M [14] присоединятся к Юго-западной атлетической конференции , а Северная Каролина A&T присоединится к конференции Big South . [15]
  • Valley Conference Огайо потеряет Восточный Кентукки и Джексонвилл государство в Asun. [12]
  • Северный Колорадо , в настоящее время являющийся партнером WAC по бейсболу, уедет в Лигу на высшем уровне в качестве единственного вида спорта . [16]

Изменения в Ballpark [ править ]

  • Сезон 2021 года станет первым для UConn на Elliot Ballpark , заменив Джо Кристиана Филда .
  • Штат Оклахома начнет игру на стадионе О'Брейт , заменив стадион Элли П. Рейнольдс .
  • Florida will begin play in Florida Ballpark, replacing Alfred A. McKethan Stadium.

Conference winners and tournaments[edit]

Of the 32 Division I all-sports athletic conferences, 31 sponsor baseball, with the Big Sky Conference the only exception. All but one of these conferences are playing in the 2021 season; the Ivy League opted out of the season due to COVID-19 concerns. Several conferences have canceled or modified their conference tournaments for 2021, with the Big Ten, Mid-American, Mountain West and West Coast joining the Big West and Pac-12 in forgoing a tournament to end the regular season. For those conferences holding a tournament, the teams in each conference that win their regular season title are given the number one seed in each tournament. The winners of these tournaments receive automatic invitations to the 2021 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Conferences that do not hold a tournament award their automatic bids to the regular-season champion.
