Talk:Podujevo

@Vanjagenije: Hello there. Yes, I have seen that in addition to my edits on the @List of cities and Towns in Kosovo that are being deleted, now my edit on the @Podujevo page has also been deleted. It is true that I did not use any source, but now I will try to explain it.

In the 2011 census, in many cities of Kosovo were registered only cadastral zones of settlements and not urban areas as a whole. In this case, Podujeva is one of them. So, according to the urban map, 3 neighborhoods of the city of Podujeva in this case are outside the cadastral zone of Podujeva and are registered as residents of the respective villages.

Meanwhile, this is excluded in many different cities of Kosovo. For example, in the city of South Mitrovica, the cadastral zone of Mitrovica has 33,904 inhabitants, while in most cases (including Wikipedia), the city is described as having 46,132 inhabitants because it includes the inhabitants of the villages of Lower Zhabar with 7,394 inhabitants and of Shipol with 4,834 inhabitants, both of which together are an integral part of the city. So, my essence here is that the general population of the urban area of Podujeva to include the neighborhoods of the city located in other cadastral areas. Because the urban area of Podujeva passes the territory of the cadastral zone of Podujeva.

According to the 2011 census, the cadastral zone of Podujeva had 23,453 inhabitants. Meanwhile, the 3 neighborhoods that are left outside the cadastral zone of Podujeva, which are located in the villages: Llapashtice e Poshtme, Obrance and Balloc, but which are an integral part of the city, ie the urban area, have 1014 residential buildings(I personally compressed them). According to the 2011 census, the cadastral zone of Podujeva had 4,829 residential buildings and 200 residential units, which in total means 5,029 in total residential buildings with 23,453 inhabitants. If we divide the number of inhabitants (23,453 inhabitants) by the amount of 5,029 housing units, it turns out that in the cadastral zone of Podujeva live 4.66 inhabitants per residential building. If these 3 neighborhoods of the city have a total of 1014 houses and if we multiply this number by 4.5, it means that these neighborhoods together have 4563 inhabitants. So, calculating this number of inhabitants, it means that the total urban area of Podujeva is about 28,016 inhabitants. Here I have uploaded the photos of these 3 neighborhoods, the urban area and the cadastral area of Podujeva.https://imgur.com/a/blpDL4D.
