Anapatris

Anapatris is a monotypic moth genus in the family Depressariidae. Its only species, Anapatris chersopsamma, is found in Panama. Both the genus and species were described by Edward Meyrick in 1932.[1]

The wingspan is 17–20 mm. The forewings are pale greyish ochreous, thinly speckled with dark grey. The plical and second distal stigmata are blackish and there is a marginal series of black dots around the apical part of the costa and termen. The hindwings are whitish grey, greyer towards the apex, especially in males.[2]
