We should be updating Tamgha-e-Imtiaz article page with all the winners years-wise. if someone can help me with source, I can do this job. -- User:Saadriaz009

Arrar is a stub about a village, created 2017 and unsourced since then. A new editor is persisting in adding unsourced info about his home village, another Arrar. Could someone with access to appropriate WP:RS please source the original article and create a sourced stub for the second one? Thanks. PamD 06:39, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

it is a title of honour, usually hereditary, originating from the Indian subcontinent.[1][self-published source?] It is an adaption from Sanskrit. During the Mughal rule, it was a title awarded to eminent people, while during British rule, the term was associated with jagirdars and social leaders. the common female equivalent was Chouhdary.[2] Many landlords under the Permanent Settlement carried this surname.[citation needed] Land reforms after the partition of India abolished the permanent settlement.[citation needed] In modern times, the term is a common South Asian surname for both males and females.[citation needed] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 39.41.157.178 (talk) 15:21, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
