Short web television series that received essentially no media coverage aside from its announcement. With no critical response to speak of, the main feature of the article - an episode history - could easily be merged to List of Bionicle media, which has a section for the TV show. - Delete: Barely found anything about the movie. Easily fails WP:NFF. If only there's a WP:CSD for films and TV shows, then this would've been qualified. ASTIG😎 (ICE T • ICE CUBE) 15:45, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

This article fails WP:GNG. Coverage is limited to trivial mention in junk listicles. The only notable character to use the name has an article. The rest seem to be minor characters without any notability. I don't think there's anything to salvage from this convoluted mess of an article. TTN (talk) 12:28, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

- Keep There are obvious alternatives to deletion such as merger with Kryptonite, List of Superman enemies, &c. As the topic is covered in numerous sources, such as the DC Comics Encyclopedia; The Ages of Superman; In Search of Reality; and The Supervillain Book, it is best to retain the current page and improve it per WP:ATD, "If editing can improve the page, this should be done rather than deleting the page." Andrew🐉(talk) 14:06, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Please post an example of the supposed coverage in those sources and explain how they qualify as significant coverage on the topic. TTN (talk) 14:15, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Andrew Davidson, Those sources have been shown, again and again, to be just plot summaries, and are also usually not independent (being licensed and published by the same companies that own the primary sources). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:03, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Keep per @Andrew Davidson: or merge with List of minor DC Comics characters in the spirit of WP:PRESERVE. --Rtkat3 (talk) 23:23, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
Comment:Can anyone verify the claim above that significant printed coverage exists? Web sources are largely non-existent. Darkknight2149 04:21, 28 May 2021 (UTC)- 'Delete. No reception/signfificance section. Fails GNG. Ping me if this changes so I can reconsider my vote. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:04, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Delete or redirect to List of Superman enemies, until the nominator can be demonstrated to be wrong. Avilich (talk) 16:55, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Delete or redirect to List of Superman enemies - I'm not expecting it, but if Andrew Davidson (or someone else) can substantiate the existence of substantial printed coverage, I will consider changing my vote. Darkknight2149 08:20, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
- Redirect to List of Superman enemies as a redirect is a better option than deletion, and the list of villains page is the obvious choice. Rhino131 (talk) 11:50, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

DeleteRedirect to Amphibia (TV series)#Season 2 (2020–21) - No secondary sources and possible copyright violation, the episode is just not ready to be on its own Wikipage yet. kpgamingz (rant me) 16:19, 26 May 2021 (UTC)- Redirect to Amphibia (TV series)#Season 2 (2020–21), the only coverage of this episode available is from unreliable sources. Devonian Wombat (talk) 10:02, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Redirect Despite personally liking the episode, I was surprised to see it had its own article, and after seeing the article, I feel that it was a mistake to give it one. JDDJS (talk to me • see what I've done) 14:05, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Keep, The Owl House's season finale has an article, why shouldn't this? Elliottharvickfan94 (talk) 23:37, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
- See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. JDDJS (talk to me • see what I've done) 00:27, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- Because the season finale of the Owl House is covered in reliable sources, but this episode is really not at all. (But, on the finale of the Owl House's article, there is a template stating that it might not be notable, so maybe that article shouldn't exist in the first place as well) Wizzito (talk) 04:40, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

Utterly fails WP:V. I have googled all of the titles of these shorts and found almost no verification that they even existed (which is shocking for something that was made in 2004).
Of the five citations in the article, one is a personal blog on Blogspot, two are forum posts, and the other two are links to a long-deleted Toon Zone article which survives only as a backup on an unofficial fansite. Name of fictional university that appears in a number of unrelated works, from comics to some TV dramas. Basically a WP:FANCRUFTy list of "works that this name appears in". The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. Ineligible for prod (was tried in 2011, declined), so here we go. - Keep It's easy to find sources such as Secrets of Hudson University; New York Times; Scouting NY; Hudson University in New York;Dick Grayson's College;&c. As it has become generic across several fictional universes, like Oxbridge, a separate page is necessary. Andrew🐉(talk) 11:43, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- Andrew Davidson, The first source cites the NYT piece. The NYT is a good start but it misses the comic book angle. The third is a blog. Fourth just screams unreliable (another blog or such). Fifth is about comics only. I don't think we are meeting the threshold for GNG/SIGCOV, plus arguably the use of the name in TV and in comic books are separate issues. Really, NYT is the only half-decent source here and I don't think it is enough to build an entire article on. Maybe a redirect to Law & Order would be ok, except the entity is not even mentioned there at all (WP:EASTEREGG issues...). No prejudice to it being mention in some List of DC comics locations, I guess. But a SYNTH list trying to argue this entity is notable b/c it appears in a number of works is not a good idea. You know, OR, etc. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:01, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Delete - The NYT piece is not half-bad, but everything else is either derivative from it, plain unreliable, or mentions the entity in passing. Few paragraphs in NYT are not enough to make something notable. - GizzyCatBella🍁 06:57, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
- Delete - The overall topic doesn't meet the standards to pass WP:GNG, so it doesn't need an article at this time. TTN (talk) 14:18, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

- Keep Just deleting this information after the New York Times article shows that it is a topic of general interest seems a disservice to the users of Wikipedia to me. But of course policy want's other arguments, too: In addition we have the Screen Rant article, which I don't see at all as a mention in passing. That is about the comics version, true. But if these were not separate topics, WP:GNG would be fulfilled, right? In addition to the presented secondary sources, the Gothamist also has a short article dedicated entirely to the subject: Most Dangerous College In NYC: "Hudson University", and that ties the TV and the comic version together, so this is neither original research nor synthesis. The same is supported by a section dedicated to Hudson University in FLASHBACK: All Star Team Up (s01e18). On another note, I would not be fundamentally opposed to a merge, but given the broad distribution of this fictional entity (which is what makes it so interesting!) I did not find any parent article where it would reasonably fit. Daranios (talk) 10:46, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- As I noted above, a summary of TV appearances/significance, based on the NYT piece, would belong in the Law & Order. As for the comic side, it is pretty poorly documented (outside plot summary), so I am not sure if there is anything to rescue here - the location can be mentioned briefly in relevant plot summaries but doesn't deserve a stand-alone article unless it has been the subject of SIGCOV going beyond ALLPLOT, which doesn't seem to be the case. It's interesting that the same location appears in diverse media, but sadly, I don't see this fact being discussed in reliable sources. Unless I missed some more significant reception/analysis of the comic book side? (And even that, arguably we are talking about two entities here: Hudson University (television) and Hudson University (DC Comics), whose merging together appears like a WP:SYNTH. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:03, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
- Merge to Law & Order (possibly the filming section) which is where it mostly appears, incorporating info from the NYT article. The other appearances in fiction are less relevant.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:38, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Merge to Law & Order (franchise)#Location as its most notable use is as a recurring setting across the franchise. The only strong source here is the NYT and otherwise Hudson is just a mention in the other fictional properties. Merger is a satisfactory alternative to deletion and compromise based on the above discussion. czar 06:52, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

Wow! Wow! Wow! There's no! no! no! WP:SIGCOV of these two topics. Even sources specializing in animation give you scrap to nothing. The best you'll get for these is a passing mention on AWN.com, self-published blogs, and a review from the Dove foundation (every crappy low-budget kids film gets a positive review from them, even Norm of the North, plus any evangelist source will be unreliable). Wubbzy's Big Movie? More like Wubbzy's No-Source Movie. In the articles' defense, the films are of a notable series, and one of them stars Beyonce, but WP:Notability is not inherited. They instantly fail WP:SIGCOV and WP:GNG, plus also violate WP:ORG in assuming Wubb Idol is a sequel to Big Movie!. Redirect to the series at best, but at worst, Delete! Delete! - Weak Keep, while the article needs major work, I did find a review at Dove (which is recognized as a reliable source) here:[[1]]. If another can be found, it would definitely pass WP:NFILM. Donaldd23 (talk) 21:04, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- Based on what we have now, I'll say merge both. The Dove review is just a single paragraph under the official promotional blurb. It's something, but it is nothing like a full review. No other references have been offered yet and the Google links above don't look promising on a quick inspection. Even if these "movies" got released on DVD, I feel that we should treat them as extended episodes of the TV show unless there is proof that they are more than that. After all, the normal episodes got released on DVD too. If better references can be found then that could swing it towards a keep. If the DVDs made a significant showing on the sales charts then that would help. If the media took a significant interest in Beyoncé's involvement (which you would think that they would) then that would help. Some more in-depth reviews would help. --DanielRigal (talk) 21:56, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- Big Movie!, from what I understand, is probably not even a movie. From what I understand, it's a one-hour special that is basically a episodic set of plots with a "main" storyline going along side them throughout. That one basically is an extended episode. Also, Wubb Idol was aired as part of a set of five continuous episodes, with Wubb Idol being the last of them. They definitely are extended episodes. 👨x🐱 (talk) 00:01, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
- Comment despite the comments in the nomination The Dove Foundation is a reliable source for non controversial subjects such as film reviews and is a rotten tomatoes critic. Ive seen them give very negative reviews with no mention of religion and to suggest that an evangelical source is unreliable per se is a biased and prejudiced opinion that is not worthy of Wikipedia in my view Atlantic306 (talk) 00:15, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
- I do admit to being biased in my Dove comment. It's just that, from what I've heard, evangelical sources in general have a tendency to cover "the truth" according to religion rather than what is actually reality. I will say, however, that I would allow considered-unreliable source for media reviews as long as its bias making its other coverage unreliable don't affect the reliability of "reviews" (though honestly subjective pieces are biased in the first place so I don't know how opinions of things could be unreliable). I would definitely allow film and music reviews from otherwise found-to-be unreliable tabloids, because they're considered unreliable only for real-life coverage that doesn't analyze or have a viewpoint on fiction i.e. The New York Post, The Daily Mail, the Daily Star, etc. 👨x🐱 (talk) 00:55, 19 May 2021 (UTC)

- Keep given this critical review of Wubbzy's Big Movie! in The Globe and Mail, a reliable newspaper. That, plus the Dove review, should be helpful for writing an encyclopedic section on the film's reception. There is coverage of Beyoncé's role in Wubb Idol, including in USA Today ("Beyonce takes a shine to Nick's 'Wubbzy!'") and The Washington Times ("A 'Wow!' for Beyonce"). DanCherek (talk) 00:36, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- I won't doubt the Globe and Mail review. However, the Washington Times and USA Today examples are only WP:ONEVENT upon-release news announcements that isn't real coverage and could be considered PR. Any popular celebrity will be announced guest starring in a film or episode even if said film or episode isn't very notable; the USA Today and WashTime sources are examples of this, as they are brief pieces focusing on Beyonce's involvement and nothing else, adding nothing significant to the topic's notability. 👨x🐱 (talk) 01:41, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
- Weak keep per DanCherek, though I confess to being amused by the nomination statement. Both reviews are quite short, so there's an argument to be made about the degree to which they're SIGCOV. You can hold around a hundred words as a reasonable minimum for what constitutes SIGCOV, though, and the Globe & Mail review passes it, while the Dove one is close. (Considering the OP statement about Dove being a generous reviewer, is that overgenerosity covered in any RSes itself to attribute to in the article?) Vaticidalprophet 16:18, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Delete- The current article is completely devoid of sources, so there is nothing worth salvaging. The only real secondary source I could find with searches was in the books "Internet Comedy Television Series, 1997-2015" and "Internet Horror, Science Fiction and Fantasy Television" (the same entry appears in both books, this is not two different sources), but the coverage there is pretty limited. Outside of that, one of Jim Gaffigan's books talks about it, but as he is one of the creators and stars of the show, it can hardly be counted as a secondary source. I'd be open to suggestions for a Redirect - I was actually initially going to propose this be redirected to Late Night with Conan O'Brien, but the show is not mentioned there, and there is not any content appropriate for merging - so if anyone has a target in mind, I would be fine with it. Rorshacma (talk) 22:10, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- Comment - I'm still not completely convinced that the sources provided by DanCherek below are enough that the show should be kept as an independent article, and not covered somewhere else (Jim Gaffigan, perhaps, as the sources seem to mostly be discussing the show in how it relates to his career?), but at the very least, I think they are enough to demonstrate that straight deletion should not be performed at this point, so I am striking my earlier recommendation. Rorshacma (talk) 15:59, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Suggestion - I started this article half a lifetime ago. I don't think the episode descriptions are necessary, may be worth keeping the info on the series? - Keep Pale Force has received significant coverage in the Chicago Tribune,[1][2] The Province,[3] and more, and it resulted in a "cult following" for Gaffigan.[4] The current article focuses too much on plot and not enough on reception and real-world connections, but this meets WP:GNG and there is enough coverage in reliable sources to discuss it in an encyclopedic manner.
