Else является двенадцатый студийный альбом от рок - группы They Might Be Giants , выпущенный Идлвайлд Recordsв 2007 году альбом был произведен в частично The Brothers Dust , наряду с Пэт Диллетт и группой.
The Else впервые был доступен для загрузки через iTunes Store 15 мая 2007 года. Версия на компакт-диске была выпущена в магазинах 10 июля 2007 года, причем первые тиражи сопровождались полноформатным бонусным диском с редким материалом, Cast Your Pod To The Wind (название представляет собой пародию на хит джазового пианиста Винса Гуаральди 1962 года " Cast Your Fate to the Wind "). A video, created by Mizushima Hine, for "With the Dark" was released on the band's YouTube page on June 7, 2007. Two more videos, for "The Shadow Government" and "I'm Impressed" were also later released. A full-length video for "The Mesopotamians" was released on Stereogum.com on October 2.
"Careful What You Pack" was originally written for the soundtrack of 2009 film Coraline, but it was not ultimately used in the film.[11]
